Expand the Xbox, Microsoft took the Executive Sony

Jakarta - Enriching the features in the Xbox, Microsoft's software team bringing former executives of Sony to game software development division. Previously, Microsoft's Peter Molyneux who lost their mainstay in the gaming industry.

Is Phil Harrison, former Sony executive who is now joining the division selected Microsoft Interactive Entertainment Business (IEB). Here, Harrison was appointed as Vice President and head of Lionhead studios.

Reported by The Inquirer, Tuesday (20/03/2012), Harrison has a focus in the European region and will lead the organization's European Studios Microsoft directly while in charge of increasing the number of strategic business partnerships for Microsoft.

"I am very pleased to join the senior team at Microsoft at a pivotal time for our industry," he said.

Harrison admitted impressed with Microsoft's long-term vision in the interactive entertainment market is growing globally. Since the old, Harrison also admire the wealth of talent, and resources on Microsoft technology.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Harrison is the Vice President of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. He also worked at Atari, a company known for its legendary video game products and consumer electronics.
